-Start your St. Pat's with a bit of exercise at Fleet Feet's Top o' the Mornin' Run. The free fun run starts off at Fleet Feet on Waters Ave. and follows the parade route through downtown. Fast or slow, walk or run, participants are encouraged to take it at their own pace. Friday, 6:30 a.m.; free.
-Burn off the holiday calories at the Kilt and Kolor Run on Hutchinson Island on Saturday. The day starts with a clean 5K race, followed by a just-for-fun powder run, where you'll leave covered in festive green. Saturday, 8 a.m.; $30 adults and $15 kids in advance, $35 day of.
-Celebrate Savannah's firefighters at the annual Fire Ball, Saturday at Ships of the Sea museum. The fun includes live music, an open bar and a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the Fallen Firefighters Fund and the new charity Paws for a Cause. Saturday, 7 p.m.-11 p.m.; $49 per person, $93 per couple.
-Get in the true Irish spirit at Kevin Barry's, Savannah's own Irish pub. Frank Emerson, Carroll Brown and Harry O'Donoghue will play traditional Irish tunes while you enjoy a drink and some tasty food. Thursday through Saturday, full schedule here; $5.

-Find food during the parade and festival at the St. Patrick's Day Food Truck Festival, which will set up at Barnard and Bay Streets downtown and feature trucks from Molly MacPherson's, Low Country Lobster and more.
-Escape the downtown crowds at Foxy Loxy's St. Patrick's Day. Savannah's own Waits & Co. will play in Foxy's outdoor courtyard. Friday, 7-10 p.m.
