-Enjoy some local writers at a special edition of Seersucker Live at Sulfur Studios, dubbed the Freefall Episode. The "part literary reading, part variety show, part cocktail party" doubles as a book release party for Patricia Lockwood's and Zach Powers's new books. Local poet Shaniqua Brown will also perform. -Ride for a cause at the Fifth Annual Matt's Moon River Cruise, presented by Bike Law Georgia. Pick the distance that works for you: 40 miles, 28 miles, five miles - or opt for no miles and just attend the party at at Moon River Brewing. The event is named for Matt Kohler, who died while riding his bike in 2012. Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; $25.
-Local improv group Sorry Not Sorry continues their ongoing '80s tribute with a night dedicated to the Golden Girls. They'll celebrate the fan-favorite quartet at Starlandia's Space Station - and enter anyone who dresses on theme into a raffle for a free tour of Southbound Brewery. Saturday, 8-9 p.m.; $8.
