Today on “Political Rewind,” TGIF! The session is over and Spring Break is here for lots of Georgians. Good time to get out of Atlanta if you can.
One of the city's main arteries I-85 is out of commission for the foreseeable future thanks to a random, but intense, fire that caused a major overpass to collapse. Lots of local stuff to chew over including a Sine Die de-brief and the first announced candidate for the 2018 governor's race.
Meanwhile, news continues to gush out of Washington like water from a fire hose. The latest drama involves short-term National Security Advisor Mike Flynn who offered testimony about Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election in exchange for immunity. The Senate intelligence committee isn't taking the deal. Meanwhile, a former FBI agent testifies that Russian hackers have figured out when and how to tweet disinformation at the president.
